Australia’s First d&b CCL System Hits the Ground Running
NAS hosts exclusive previews ahead of VJAM deployment.
NAS has given Australia its first taste of d&b audiotechnik’s new CCL system, with a string of private demos held in recent days. The compact line array, which delivers surprising output and clarity from a deceptively small footprint, has drawn an enthusiastic response from those lucky enough to hear it in action.
Before heading to its new home with VJAM in Tasmania, part of the system was previewed in Sydney with Sightline Productions. The reaction? Overwhelmingly positive.
“Everyone who’s heard it has been blown away by what it can do,” said Anthony Murdoch from NAS. “From the clarity and cardioid pattern control to the punch of the 15-inch subs, it’s incredible how much performance d&b has packed into such a compact design.”
