CASE STUDIES & TESTIMONIALS

Real-World solutions for every project.

One NZ, Wynyard Quarter

4/3/26NAS
One NZ has become a very trusted name in telecommunications at all levels of the technology from big business right down to personal mobile phones, and in the interests of maintaining that edge and providing the best of support and service, the company decided to establish a completely new headquarters in a place called the Wynyard Quarter in Auckland.
Brands:

Pinehurst Theatre

21/11/25NAS
As a leading private school on Auckland’s North Shore, Pinehurst School had a clear vision for a state-of-the-art, professional and flexible venue that would meet the high expectations and myriad needs of their school community. Having previously received a design with a recommended budget of $1.6 million, which was deemed excessive, Pinehurst School approached Halogen Avenue for solution to their needs.

World of WearableArt

19/12/24NAS
Think of Cirque De Soleil getting together with the most spectacular of those Paris fashion shows – and everyone has to hang upside-down from a trapeze swing.

Kmart Distribution Centre

17/10/24NAS
Not surprisingly, within the whole space the facility is split into various zones, each of which would pose different problems according to the activities taking place in that zone and factors such as ambient noise – for example, some sections might use heavy forklifts and machinery while others are just shuffling around boxes of paper clips.
Brands:

Hamilton Zoo

14/8/24NAS
Installing a new public address system in New Zealand’s Hamilton Zoo presented some unique challenges – like, don’t make any noise, sudden movements, or leave your half-finished lunch on the table.

Hukanui Bible Church

20/12/23NAS
The church was first built in the 1970s, which in the scheme of all things church-related in NZ makes it practically brand new. Even so, around three years ago the church Elders decided the building needed a serious renovation, improving the facilities and making the place more in tune with what houses of worship are providing their congregations in the 21st century.

EastPack

15/8/23NAS
EastPack is very aware that it’s mostly manual work, and with that in mind, the care and wellbeing of its 700-strong workforce at Te Puke requires a slightly different approach for providing a safe and happy workplace. Near the top of the list has always been playing background music for the workers, and with the existing system being little more than ageing boomboxes squawking from the corners of the roof, things needed a refit.

Patrons Brewery

7/8/23NAS
Speaker placement and dispersion would be crucial to balanced and even sound coverage.

Pulse Energy Recreation Centre

2/9/22NAS
In the large, open spaces of a community recreation centre, clarity and control were the priorities in this PA upgrade.
